From laptops to virtual reality to cybersecurity to televisions and headphones, Dan Ackerman has been one of the primary voices and faces of CBS-owned technology publication CNET for almost 15 years.
Dan is Editor at Large at leading technology news site CNET, where he oversees coverage of computer hardware, including Macs, PCs and Chromebooks. A hands-on expert, he manages a team running CNET's New York gadget testing lab and has personally tested and reviewed hundreds of laptops, desktops, tablets and hybrids, while also hosting videos and writing about hot-button consumer technology topics.
He also hosts the CNET Book Club podcast, where he interviews authors such as Walker Mosley, Jeff Vandermeer and Andy Weir .
As a writer and columnist, Dan has contributed regularly to magazines including Men's Journal, Maxim, Blender, and Sync, and he's previously served as a monthly columnist for both SPIN and WWE Magazine.
